January 11, 2017
The new administration has hit the ground running after the inauguration of 45th president, Donald Trump, and the research community is being sure to let him know what our priorities are. ASA, CSSA and SSSA, as part of several broad research coalitions, have sent letters to President Trump and his transition teams congratulating him on his election and asking him to put federal food, agriculture and natural resources research as a high priority. The letters highlight the importance of research at USDA, the National Science Foundation, USGS and the Department of Energy - Office of Science. Read the letters here.
