Congressional Democrats and Republicans weigh in on climate change

Seventeen House Republicans, led by Reps. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Ryan Costello (R-PA), and Carlos Curbelo (R-FL), introduced a resolution calling for action to address climate change.  All three, and the majority of the Resolution’s Repulican co-sponsors, are Members of the bipartisan House Climate Solutions Caucus co-chaired by Rep. Curbelo and Florida Democrat Rep. Ted Deutch, which the chairs hope to make an "ideas factory" for addressing climate change this Congress. The resolution closely mirrors H.Res. 424, led by retired Congressman Chris Gibson (R-NY) in the 114th Congress.
