The 2013 meeting of the Northeastern Branch of ASA, CSSA, and SSSA was held on the University of Delaware Campus in Newark, DE from June 23-26, 2013. The theme of the meeting was “Expanding our Boundaries: Nutrient Management for Non-Traditional Agriculture”. The Symposium focused on the unique issues that affect nutrient management for non-agronomic commodities and industries – areas including commercial vegetable production for both processing and fresh markets, the landscape, greenhouse and nursery industries, golf courses and other turf grass operations and equine pastures for the pleasure horse industries – all important components of agriculture in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region.
